20 Years in the Industry
Acorn Builders Ltd was incorporated in May 2002 by Lee and Jamie’s late father Stephen Smart. His ethos was simple, to provide construction services for both residential customers and insurance customers situated in the East Sussex area.
Lee started working for the company in 2003 and Jamie joined the company in 2012 to assist in managing the successful and ever growing family business. Dad was really proud to have his twin boys on board and working along side him.
Sadly Stephen passed away in 2019. Lee and Jamie have since taken on the business and all of the principles initially laid out by their father.
Lee and Jamie continue the journey started by Stephen, expanding the business further afield and working with leading clients within the insurance sector to repair and restore policyholders’ properties.
